The sound of Ceskie's Alter Ego:
The story behind the 'Hummingbird' sound
The Germans are almost onto Hummingbird, a 1940s violinist and spy, undercover in France - when she suddenly loses connection to her London base.
She decides to transmit what she's really known for - her music - hoping it'll get through to someone.
Yet, her broken transmission is lost in the airwaves for 80 years... until now.
Somehow connected to 2021, Eva Hummingbird's signal links us with her emotions and memories from WW2 - captured through her unique string sound-world:
'The Hummingbird sound'.
"A truly rare sound world, like no other. These strings work for production in every genre."
Gil Smith -
Internationally renowned music director, producer, and arranger (Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Drake, Chris Brown, Cee Lo Green, G-Eazy, Travis Barker, Eminem, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Keri Hilson, Brandy, and Faith Evans)
"This is the real deal... samples that will inspire you to create from your soul"
Paul 'Papabear' Johnson -
Music director, producer, arranger, bassist, drummer (Lil Wayne, Kehlani, Taeyang, Taylor Swift, BAERD)
"One of the most accomplished violinists and string arrangers of our generation"
Connie Shih -
